7th International Guitar Festival in Lagoa with "Miguel Amaral & Yuri Reis" and "Jesús Guerrero Cuarteto"

​Next Sunday, at 17:30, the Municipal Park of Sítio das Fontes, in Estômbar, hosts the concerts of "Miguel Amaral & Yuri Reis" and "Jesús Guerrero Cuarteto".

​Jesús Guerrero was born in 1985 in San Fernando (Cadiz), Spain. He began playing the guitar at the age of eleven, under the tutorship of master José Luis Balao. A restless and artistically versatile spirit, Jesús Guerrero is one of the most talented guitarists in today's flamenco music scene.

​​Miguel Amaral - Portuguese guitar - and Yuri Reis - 7-string guitar - are both musicians living in Porto. Miguel Amaral and Yuri Reis merge Portuguese and Brazilian repertoire in their new and first CD together "Saudade". This first joint CD "Saudade" is made of Choros, Valsas and Guitarradas that form one musical country. 

The repertoire of "Saudade" includes classical themes for the Portuguese guitar and other emblematic seven-string guitars and three original themes "Fado Barroco" by Mário Laginha, "Três Marias" by João Camarero, and "Caprichosa" by Pedro Amorim.

​The tickets cost 8 euros, 20% discount upon presentation of the Cultural Passport, Cartão Lagoa Social or Rota do Petisco 2020, and can be purchased on time at the Centro Cultural Convento de S. José, from Tuesday to Saturday between 09:00 and 12:30 and between 14:00 and 17:30.

They can also be purchased at Fnac, Worten, online and on the day and place of the event from 4:30pm.
