The mixed workshop (online and autonomous work) is attended by students, teachers and parents.
Agrupamento de Escolas Pinheiro e Rosa (AEPROSA), in Faro, in partnership with the Portuguese Institute for Sports and Youth, will organize on February 17, 22 and 24, March 1, 3, 8 and 10 a mixed video workshop "VIDEOLAB" (online and autonomous work), as part of its activities of the School Cultural Project and the National Film Plan.
In the workshop we will have the participation of students, teachers and parents.
Initially the workshop was planned for 12 participants, but as after just one week there was a volume of enrollments three times higher, the organization of the workshop decided to restructure the workshop. It was planned for 12 participants, but in just one week there were 46 enrolled, which led to a reorganization of the training, so that no one was left out.
"As the digital medium, and in this case video, is increasingly used in communication, it is important to provide young people and the rest of the school community with basic notions in the audiovisual area". The workshop will, therefore, go through the "concept of aesthetics and technical audiovisual language, from camera operation to editing and exporting to different formats, from videos for youtube to instagram, facebook etc..., so they can use this resource in school work (contributing to the development of Perfil dos Alunos à Saída da Escolaridade Obrigatória and Projeto Educativo do AEPROSA) or just for fun," according to Agrupamento de Escolas,
The workshop aims to provide the AEPROSA educational community with the acquisition of knowledge in the Audiovisual area. Being a basic level workshop, it is intended that each participant acquires theoretical, aesthetic and practical skills to make a short video putting into practice the concepts learned during the theoretical sessions.
The online workshop requires minimal knowledge in the areas of computers and digital media, and will be divided into two forms, the theoretical one with the online facilitator, and the practical one to be done by the student "offline". All exercises will be reviewed by the facilitator and participants.
The program content includes a historical review of the birth of video, basics of Aesthetics and Audiovisual Language, basics of camera and lighting, basics of audio, basics of editing, and making and analyzing Practical Work.
