There are already 3 social support lines available for the self-employed in culture, the lines are part of the Economic and Social Stabilisation Programme (PEES), which was approved in June. This support is aimed at artistic entities and cultural venues that have been damaged by the Covid-19 pandemic. These support lines are essentially aimed at independent artists, technicians, authors and other professionals who have received or requested support from Social Security as self-employed workers and who apply for a maximum of 1316.43 euros. 1st support line 30 million, which is available to 18,000 beneficiaries, but Culture Minister Graça Fonseca said the number could increase. 2nd support line Three million euros of support for professional artistic entities to resume their activities and to deal with the damage caused by the paralysis of the sector with the Covid-19 pandemic. 3rd support line EUR 750 000 support to enable theatres, cultural theatres and auditoriums to adapt to the recommendations imposed in the context of a pandemic.
