João Afonso, a singer with a work greatly influenced by the music and rhythms of Africa, now lends his musicality to a series of poets from Lusophone. Born in Mozambique, he is an admirer of the plural richness of the Portuguese language in the various forms it has taken in different parts of the world. José Afonso's nephew also has a strong influence on him, including in his repertoire some of Zeca's inescapable songs. Accompanied by a trio composed by the guitars of Miguel Fevereiro and António Pinto and by the percussions of João Ferreira, a happy encounter of musicians who cross universes musicals, João Afonso's concert takes us on a journey through the Diaspora and the Portuguese language, in a musicality rich in sounds and sensations. This Friday at 21:30 - 23:00 , will be live at the pateo of the Associação República14 in Olhão.
