"Neither Stopped nor Quiet", next Monday, will be promoted by the Union of Workers of Shows, Audiovisual and Musicians (CENA-STE)in front of the Assembly of the Republic, in Lisbon, where on that day the Minister of Culture will be heard. CENA-STE announced in a statement that the protest will take place between 15:30 and 17:30, on the day that in parliament "the State Budget for Culture will be under discussion. According to the Union "Only with a value substantially higher than that presented so far, approaching as much as possible 1% of the State Budget, it will be possible what we have demanded in these times: that the basic and emergency measures for the sector are in fact fulfilled, to ensure that we exist in a year and create real conditions, so that in the future what we live in these times never happens again". According to the results of a survey promoted by GDA, for each show cancelled in Portugal, until March 31, due to the covid-19 pandemic, an average of 18 artists, 1.3 production professionals and 2.5 technicians were left without income. The crisis in the culture sector gave rise to at least two food aid groups, which began in Lisbon, but later created nuclei in the rest of the country: União Audiovisual and nosSOS, promoted by the theater company Palco 13. ✓ T R A N S P A R E N C Y
