Rui Catalão's Community Theater Project premieres today at 7:30 p.m. at Teatro das Figuras. The show revives the habits of the general courts of the XIII and XV centuries, where every month the clergy, nobility and people gathered, in the end, made their petitions. The general courts had their moment of glory between the XIII-XV century, and lasted approximately one month. Clergy, nobility and people met in separate meetings, at the end of which they made their petitions. In today's society there are several courts between communities, in which groups bleed for finding themselves isolated and without solutions. It is then necessary to identify where the community "bleeds" and how it can channel these frustrations into more rewarding and stimulating practices, where the feeling of belonging is strengthened. Rui Catalao is currently carrying out non-presential research with groups of identity participants from the municipality of Faro. Through this historical-social research the group of participants in the project will be created. The project has the support of the following identities: Moto Clube de Faro- official, Associação de Moradores da Ilha da Culatra, Universidade do Algarve para a Terceira Idade (UATI), Club Farense, Universidade do Algarve UAlg, Sociedade Recreativa Bordeirense - Faro, Asmal - Associação de Saúde Mental do Algarve, G.A.TO. -Grupo de Ajuda a Toxicodependentes e ECOS - Cooperativa de Educação, Cooperação e Desenvolvimento, CRL Acknowledgements: Filipe Nascimento Coproduction: Theater of Figures and Independent IP-Productions ✓ T R A N S P A R E N C Y
